Vienna: Day Two

We had a slow start on day two, but that didn't keep us from the wurst stands, Christmas Markets and Christmas trees!  We spent the day wandering the streets, admiring the Christmas displays and taking loads of pictures.  During our wandering we came across a little restaurant that we went back to find again that evening for our first wiener schnitzel in Wien (very tasty)!

Nothing like a good street-side bratwurst under the heat lamps!

The Christmas tree markets were on every street corner and smelled SO good!  They had big trees and itty bitty Charlie Brown style trees.

There were so many cute things at the Christmas Markets...so hard to choose!

Working on my collection of Christmas Market mugs...I had a suitcase full!

Crochet lamppost covers! With St. Stephens Cathedral's famous roof in the background.

After a break in the hotel we headed back out for dinner.
After dinner we went to THE Christmas Market...it was really pretty - lights, Christmas music and loads of people!

Gingerbread

Of course we couldn't resist a few night-time photos on the walk back to the hotel.

 Stay tuned for day three!
